Audio Visualization Component (QSSP) |
 |
Totally Hip is proud to announce the release of our new Audio Visualizations QuickTime component (QSSP). The Audio Visualization component allows viewers to visualize audio in the form of a spectrogram, waveform, or spectrum analyzer. The Audio Visualization component will be incorporated into Totally Hip's LiveStage Professional -- the leading QuickTime 6 authoring environment.
"The new QuickTime QSSP component is an extremely useful tool for visualizing acoustic signals in real time. It can handle both audio or video with audio files with equal aplomb. By providing both waveform and spectrogram views, and allowing the user to set axis scales, spectrogram settings such as brightness, bandwidth, and contrast, and any of a variety of color mappings, this new tool is highly customizable to the needs of different end users.
"The ability to store and retrieve annotations linked to specific mark in/mark out points will make it a superior delivery environment for any rich media archive. I can easily see QSSP becoming the standard for scientific sound visualization and annotation of rich media on all platforms."
